THE INFLUENCE OF THE PRODUCTION-PRICE CONJUNCTURE ON THE ADAPTABILITY OF THE VALUE ADDED CHAIN OF CROP PRODUCTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE WAR IN UKRAINE

Subject. Economic processes in the chains of crop production to provide the population with food. Purpose. Substantiation of directions of improvement of activity and effective interaction of raw and processing enterprises in chains of added value of crop production. Method. The research was carried out using methods: dialectical – to assess trends in the fields of crop processing products; statistical and comparisons – for the economic analysis of the activities of enterprises; index – for assessing the adaptability of raw materials and processing enterprises; system generalization – to determine the directions of cooperation of enterprises of the chain of crop processing products. Results. The state of crop production in Ukraine was assessed, which indicates the predominance of low-margin crops. The main problems of raw enterprises in the conditions of modern challenges were identified, the most critical of which are the low capacity utilization and of personnel, interruptions in energy supply, disruption of logistics, increase in transportation prices, pollution of territories. An economic analysis of the activities of producers of food products and agricultural raw was carried out. The price trends in the chains of added value of crop processing products were analyzed. The adaptability of enterprises producing raw and processed crop products in the conditions of martial law was assessed according to the integral indicator. Proposals for effective interaction between processing enterprises and suppliers of crop raw materials and directions for improving their activities were provided. Scope of results. Intended for specialists in the field of economic research, researchers and can be used in further scientific research on value chains, an analysis of the activities of enterprises and branches of the food sector.
