Abstract

Subject. Linoleic and sugar-containing raw materials. Research on methods of using the biopotential of beet pulp as a lignin-cellulose-containing raw material for the production of bioethanol. Methods. Analytical. Results. In biotechnology, biomass and usually sucrose processed using one of three methods: anaerobic digestion, fermentation, or enzymatic reactions. So, beet pulp is a good raw material for the production of both biogas (containing mainly CH4, CO2 and N2, H2S, NH3) and hydrogen, bioethanol, biobutanol and lactic acid. Biotechnological processes include the preparation of raw materials, which based on mechanical, physicochemical, enzymatic or chemical processes in order to obtain a mixture of sugars as a microbiological environment. The introduction of biotechnologies for the transformation of beet pulp as a lignin-cellulose-containing raw material into bioethanol is an alternative to carbon-containing fuel for vehicles. The yield of bioethanol from beet pulp is 0.1 g/g of dry weight. Correct preparation of raw materials and scientifically based application of biotechnological processes will contribute to the elimination of the main problem of sugar factories – seasonality of production. In addition, one of the products of biotransformation of molasses will also be liquefied carbon monoxide and molasses bard. Enzymatic hydrolysis is environmentally friendly and at the same time high-cost. This contributed to the introduction of microbial saccharification of raw materials, which consists in the production of enzymes that destroy lignin cellulose. Microbiological hydrolysis often uses mold strains that release monosaccharides from the polysaccharide substrate. Significant advantages of using microorganisms in biochemical processes provided by high selectivity of enzymes and mild reaction conditions, which will contribute to the production of competitive products with high yield. Scope of results. Sugar beet industry.
