Abstract

Subject. Innovative technologies in the food industry and their role in increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises. In today's conditions of globalization and growing requirements for the quality of food products, enterprises must actively implement advanced technologies that contribute to the optimization of production processes, increasing the level of product safety and compliance with environmental standards. Purpose. To research and evaluate modern production technologies in the food industry using benchmarking methods to identify the most effective practices that contribute to improving product quality, optimizing production processes, reducing costs, and increasing environmental efficiency. Methods. Used in the study include analysis and synthesis, comparative method, benchmarking method, as well as statistical analysis, which are important for the justification of recommendations and contribute to the optimization of processes in the food industry. Each of these criteria provides a comprehensive approach to evaluating technologies, which allows you to determine their suitability for a specific enterprise and ensure optimal use of resources. Results. Allow us to conclude that in order to achieve a high level of competitiveness, food industry enterprises need to actively invest in innovative technologies and use benchmarking as a methodology for analyzing and optimizing business processes. The use of automation systems, resource-saving solutions and digital technologies not only increases productivity and reduces costs, but also allows meeting modern environmental requirements, which is an important aspect of sustainable development. In the future, thanks to benchmarking, enterprises can develop new strategic guidelines, which will contribute to the improvement of business processes and the achievement of sustainable competitive advantages in the long term.
