Abstract

Subject. Substantiation of priority areas of stimulation of socio-economic processes aimed at the development of the agro-industrial sphere, in the interaction of government, business and society. Purpose. To determine the priority areas of stimulation of the development of the agro-industrial sphere aimed at achieving the goals of sustainable development, to reveal the features of their implementation in modern conditions. Methods. The study was carried out on the basis of general scientific and special methods, in particular: the method of system generalization – to allocate priority areas of direction and stimulate the development of the agro-industrial sphere into a single concept; methods of analysis and synthesis – to substantiate the necessity and effectiveness of priority areas of stimulation of development; statistical and tabular methods – to assess trends in the development of the agro-industrial sector. Results. The article examines and substantiates the priority directions of directing and stimulating the development of the agro-industrial sphere, namely: agro-industrial integration is a priority direction of the state policy and food security; perfection of the regulatory framework; information support and high-quality analytics; reforming and monitoring the implementation of institutional support; promoting and stimulating the level of employment and advanced training of employees in the agro-industrial sector; export increase in the volume of agro-industrial products; state aid, budgeting, lending, investment and stimulation of innovative development of the agro-industrial sector. Scope of the results. The results of the study are constantly changing due to the restoration of the information field and analytical data, which makes it possible to further discuss the topic in academia and beyond. The article is offered to scholars of economic research, teachers of higher educational institutions and specialists in the field of public administration.
