Abstract

Subject. A set of theoretical, methodological and applied provisions for ensuring the financial sustainability of food producers, the availability of financing and financial services. Purpose. To systematize and generalize the conceptual principles of the formation of ensuring the financial stability of producers of food products, the availability of financing and financial services. Methods. The results of the study are based on the application of: dialectical and general system formation, structural-logical method, economic-statistical, economic and comparative analysis, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis to justify measures to ensure the financial stability of food producers, the availability of financing and financial services. Results. The issue of financing and the availability of loan capital, problems related to the problem of the efficiency of the functioning of financial markets and indicators of the development of the financial system of Ukraine have been elaborated. It has been established that the current conditions and instruments for attracting loan capital in Ukraine do not sufficiently take into account the peculiarities of small and micro economic entities, the peculiarities of capital turnover and the social importance of certain subsectors of the food industry. There are no effective mechanisms for hedging price risks, effective tools for compensation for losses due to adverse natural and climatic conditions, emergency situations of a military nature, and emergency epizootic circumstances. It is substantiated that low purchasing power is a significant limitation of demand in the domestic market and the financial potential of food industry enterprises. Measures to increase the financial stability of producers, the availability of financial resources and financial services are proposed. Scope of results. The research results contain theoretical and methodological aspects that expand knowledge on ensuring the financial stability of food producers, the availability of financing and financial services. It is intended for the practical application of the main scientific provisions and proposals of the study in the preparation of legislative and regulatory acts related to the formation of state policy in order to ensure the effective development of the national food system and the improvement of the socio-economic situation in Ukraine. The obtained results can be used in further scientific studies of current problems of the development of the national food system by specialists in the economic field and all interested persons.
