Abstract

The subject of the research is the factors of achieving long-term goals of social and economic progress in the national interests of Ukraine. The purpose of the article. To generalize the domestic experience of purposeful impact on the socio-economic processes in the country to overcome the crisis in the economy by mobilizing the necessary resources and consolidating public efforts to achieve success. Methods: logical, systemic generalization, analysis and synthesis for systematizing knowledge regarding the strategic goals of socio-economic processes and production systems, identification of problems which could be exacerbated in the near future Results. The article provides an overview of the scientific provisions and analytical generalization of the goals of the country's socio-economic development, which are reflected in the official policy documents of the highest executive bodies of Ukraine in the period 1995-2019. The macroeconomic situation is characterized by dynamic changes in the physical volumes of the gross domestic product (GDP) and indicators of their annual growth (decline). The concept of "food system" has been clarified taking into account the important role of the factor of "self-organization" in the formation of its structure and efficiency. Attention is focused on the need to achieve a modern technical and technological level and balance all components of the production activity of the agrosphere. The urgent need for the implementation of preventive measures to overcome the threats associated with the influence of climatic conditions on economic activity is substantiated in order to form guarantees of food security now and in the future. The scope of the research results. The research results can become the basis for further scientific research in the field of this problem and decision-making on state regulation of the development of branches of the agro-industrial complex.
