DEEPENING OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE DEFINITION OF «INDUSTRIAL POTENCIAL» IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY

In the open economy industrial potential has to resist international competition both in domestic market and foreign markets. Under the market economic system economic, scientific, technical, industrial, organizational, managerial, marketing and other features of a separate company, industry or country are reflected in this category. The article analyzes the transformation of approaches to evaluation and formation of industrial potential in the context of competitiveness and a new definition of industrial potential is proposed basing on this study the said definition being likely to promote solving problems connected with its implementations and to provide improving of citizens’ welfare.
