Abstract

The article analyzes the international experience of cluster approaches of industrial production and its impact on the competitiveness of the industry, determined that the growth of innovation activity now subject to the application of new organizational levers that can stimulate increased productivity in the industry, creating products with high added value, development high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries, closed circuit production. One of the most effective means of increasing innovation activity in the industry is the use of cluster approach of industrial production, which brings together within a cluster resources and expertise are not available for individual enterprises. Determined that the cluster approach to building innovation infrastructure can be considered an instrument of integration of science, education and business, a way of implementing the principle of territorial management of innovative development and one of the main ways to increase the competitiveness of industries. Defined and analyzed Ukraine's place in the ranking index of global competitiveness and the dynamics of change Ukraine's position in it for the period of 2010-2016 years. To compare favorable business environment around the world we also analyzed Ukraine's place in the ranking of ease of doing business «Doing Business-2015».
