FORMATION OF EFFECTIVE FOOD SYSTEM OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

In the context of globalization formation effective a food system of the country is one of the main priorities of the national agricultural policy. Since independence, Ukraine's role as a global supplier of food has increased substantially, however, the issue of food security is important as not fully met the needs of the population in food. Moreover, a significant share of exports still continues to raw materials. At the present stage of human development to ensure food security of country and to address the global food problem, along with the growth of agricultural productionincreasing role as components of the food system plays organizing storage, processing, transportation and trade. In the article the approaches to the definition of food system, the scheme of evolution food system based transformation of agriculture, the factors that affect its performance and reasonable approaches to the formation of an effective food system in Ukraine under globalization.
