Abstract

Theoretical-methodological and methodical aspects of evaluation and spatial placement of food industry and its sectors, their raw materials and labor potential, logistics. are substantiated and generalized. The methodology of assessing the potential of regional food industry development, covering a comprehensive system of indicators is elaborated. It brings together groups of indicators and indicators that have different properties to generalize the reflection of regional effectiveness in using production resources. The full-system character of the developed technique defines it as a constructive factor, economic instruments kit not only for analytical research but for solving problem of the efficiency of spatial development of the food industry and its sectors.
