Abstract

The article defines the concept of "market infrastructure" and analyzes the evolution of its interpretation in various economic systems. The functions performed by the market infrastructure are defined. The main components of the agrarian market infrastructure in general and the meat and meat products market infrastructure in particular are presented. It is proposed to classify the instruments of regulation of the market infrastructure by the methods of regulation and the nature of regulation. It is noted that the instruments of regulating market infrastructure are to be considered in a complex, as those directly affecting the elements of infrastructure and those having an impact on the market. The article analyzes the main instruments for regulating the meat and meat products market infrastructure, namely pricing, state incentives and financial support, export quotas.
