The subject of the research is the formation of food security in the context of global climate change. The purpose of the article is to summarize the international experience of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in the development and implementation, under the auspices of the UN, of food security programs in countries that suffer from extreme climatic events. To identify the impact of climate change on agricultural production in Ukraine, which may cause negative consequences for the food industry and food security of the country. Methods applied: logical, systemic generalization, analysis and synthesis - to systematize knowledge
about the impact of global climate change on food production and identify problems that may worsen in this regard in the near future. The results of the study. The article provides an analytical review of published documents of the FAO Food and Agriculture Organization of the
United Nations on the impact of climate change on the food security of the world's population. The results of the implementation of the international research project Foresight "The Future of Global Food and Agriculture until 2050" are summarized. Based on international experience, a set of measures has been determined to achieve sustainable balanced production of raw materials and food resources under abnormal weather conditions in Ukraine. Scope of application. The results of the study can become the basis for further scientific research in the field of this problem and decision-making on state regulation of the development of agro-industrial sectors.
