CONCEPTUAL BASIS OF CHALLENGES AND RISKS ASSESSMENT IN THE STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF FOOD SYSTEMS

Subject. The study implies a set of methodological and methodical approaches to assessing risks and challenges affecting the development of food systems at different levels. Purpose. The development of proposals for ensuring the sustainability of food systems at various levels based on the implementation of methodical and methodological approaches to the assessment of risks and challenges caused by global instability and armed aggression in key strategic documents. Methods. The research was conducted using theoretical and heuristic methods (systematic approach, generalization and comparison, analysis and synthesis, analogy), bibliometric analysis, and expert evaluations. Results. It was established that among specific risks for the development of the domestic food system there are physical destruction of objects caused by russian aggression, mining of agricultural lands and their contamination with explosives, logistical restrictions and others, which have negative consequences, the degree of impact of which should be assessed to ensure national food security. The need to develop the methodology "Impact Assessment of risks and challenges on the development of the national food system" and the integration of the risk management system based on it into key strategic documents are substantiated. Scope of results. Development of agrarian policy, ensuring the development of food security, management of the food system at various levels.
